    Description

    Baratza sets new standards in terms of simplicity, efficiency and durability thanks to a specially developed, innovative grinder drive. Unlike all other drive concepts, the outer grinding ring rotates while the inner grinding cone is fixed. This technique offers several benefits and solves some classic problems that are usually unsolved in electric coffee grinders. The rotating grinding ring in combination with a grinder geometry that actively supplies the coffee beans to the grinder, significantly increases the grinding speed. With standard grinding settings and average hard beans, the set grinds unbeatable 3.5g/sec for espresso and 5.5g/sec for brewing coffee. This is about twice as fast as comparable high-quality mills for the household. The ground coffee is guided vertically through the grinder funnel downwards and falls directly into the collection container or the portafilter. This reduces the "dead space" (the room where old grind can collect) to a minimum. This set of 30 AP is the entry-level mill. has the same innovative grinder as the 270 and 270 W set. Different grind adjustment is made of plastic with 30 grinding levels and the portafilter holder which can be converted by pulling out and 90° twisting.
