But that doesn't have to be the case: the nature-based active ingredient Carragelose® in algovir® Kinder forms a protective film on the nasal mucosa that envelops these viruses and thus prevents them from penetrating into the mucous membrane and multiplying there. algovir® Kinder can thereby prevent the complete onset of a cold and alleviate the symptoms and shorten the duration of the cold even with an already existing cold (1). * Viruses as a trigger of colds (flu infections) How does algovir® children work? Spray a spray into each nostril at least three times a day. The nature-based active ingredient Carragelose® from the red algae forms a protective film on the nasal mucosa.
