If the dentist does not prescribe otherwise, the usual dose for use for caries prophylaxis and for targeted treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks is usually:
a) At home
Brush the teeth with the Toothbrush once a week with approx. 0.5 g dental gel (approx. 1.5 cm dental gel strand or cherry stone size), corresponding to 6.25 mg fluoride. After a few minutes of exposure to rinse your mouth. The total time of the application (plaster and exposure time) must not exceed 5 minutes. In addition, the dentist can order the application of 2-3 times a week in the event of increased caries risk (e.g. in patients with orthodontic apparatus). For the targeted treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks, the dental gel is applied to the affected tooth surfaces and touched on. It is best to use Dynexaminfluoride Gelée in the evening before going to bed.
b) In dental practice:
for caries prophylaxis approx. 2 times a year using a mini plasting rail approx. 3 g dynexaminfluoride gelée (corresponding to approx. 37.5 mg fluoride).
Application with the blunt cannula from a filled one-off injection to the caries-prone or hypersensitive tooth surfaces: 2-4 times a year.
with increased caries risk, e.g. B. in patients with orthodontic equipment: application at monthly intervals. A sufficient contact time of the dental gel with the teeth (at least 2 to 4 minutes) must be guaranteed. However, it must not exceed 5 minutes. After application, the mouth is rinsed out. Dynexaminfluoride gelée may be used in children aged 3 and over, which are under dental control due to an increased risk of caries. This applies to children in individual prophylaxis and to those in group prophylaxis. After use, water is rinsed out.
c) In group prophvlaxes
as part of the group -prophylactic activities approx. twice a year with dynexaminfluoride gelée brush your teeth several times a year, especially in children and adolescents with increased risk of caries. Rinse after 2-3 minutes. The total time of the application (plaster and exposure time) must not exceed 5 minutes.
Type of application:
for dental application.
Duration of the application:
permanent success is only ensured when used in life.
If you have used a larger amount of dynexaminfluoride jelly than you should:
acute overdose: depending on the dosage and the type of administration, in extreme cases (e.g. when using mini plaors) up to 3 G dental gel (37.5 mg fluoride) are brought into the oral cavity. The swallowing of such quantities can lead to nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. In these symptoms of poisoning, take calcium-containing drinks (e.g. milk, calcium effervescent tablet) to bind the fluoride. Then see a doctor.
Chronic overdosing: If a daily overall fluoride recording (systemic and local) of 2 mg is regularly exceeded, the formation of the organic melting matrix can be disturbed during tooth development up to about the age of 8 and, as a result, the mineralization of the melting can be disturbed. The result: spotted enamel, also called melting or dental fluorosis. A second possible cause of spotted enamel is the one-time intake of high fluoride quantities, combined with a significant increase in the serum fluoride concentration. The border threshold, from which the corresponding damage is used, has not yet been known for humans. If these symptoms occur, please speak to your dentist, doctor or pharmacist.
If you have forgotten the application of dynexaminfluoride gelée:
Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application. If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your dentist or pharmacist.
