What the wording means: The weekly facial treatment at home supports the natural skin renewal. Clogged pores and the skin surface are exfoliated effectively yet gently by removing dead skin cells. With an intense blend of 25% AHA/2% BHA from the Drunk Elephant dream team of glycolic, tartaric, lactic, citric and salicylic acids, this high-quality formula smoothes the skin while minimizing the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Babyfacial is uniquely composed of chickpea flour, pumpkin ferment and a soothing antioxidant blend of matcha tea, milk thistle and apple. It provides an incredible brightening and enzymatic effect, improves the feeling of elasticity of the skin and promotes the appearance of a more even, radiant, baby-tender complexion. What the formulation does: Babyfacial has been developed for all skin types. Glycolic acid has a bad reputation because it has a sensitizing effect, but Drunk Elephant is convinced that it is the pH value and the accompanying ingredients (such as fragrant oils or an increased amount of alcohol) that can be the real problem. Babyfacial has an ideal pH of 3.5 and contains a mixture of acids that work synergistically to achieve greater effectiveness without causing redness and skin irritation.
