1. What is grandmacor and what is it used for?
grandmacor contains highly cleaned, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids. Grandoma belongs to a group of so-called cholesterol and triglyceride-lowering means. Omacor is used to prevent heart attack, in addition to other standard treatment and the treatment of certain forms of increased blood lipid levels (endogenous hypertriglyceridemia) if suitable dietary measures alone are not sufficient.
2. What do you need to consider before taking grandmacor?
grandmacor must not be taken if you are allergic (hypersensitive) against the active ingredient or one of the other components of grandmacor (see under "Important information about certain other components" and section 6 "Further information"). If the point mentioned applies to you, you should not take Grandomacor and ask your doctor for advice.
Special caution when taking grandmacor is required:
if you have to undergo an operation or have recently subjected you.

3. How to take Grandomacor?

You should take the capsules for meals to avoid unwanted effects in the gastrointestinal area. Your doctor will decide how long you should take this medicine.

The usual dose is 1 capsule per day.
dosage for the treatment of increased blood lipid levels (high triglyceride levels in blood or hypertriglyceridemia):
The usual daily dose recommended by the doctor are 2 capsules. In the event of inadequate effect, the dose can be increased by your doctor to 4 capsules per day.
If you have taken a larger amount of grandmacor than you should:
If you accidentally took a large amount of grandmacor than you should, don't be worried. It is unlikely that special treatment will be required. In such a case, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
If you have forgotten the intake of grandmother:
