1. What is Zink Verla 10 mg and what is it used for?
Zink Verla 10 mg is a mineral preparation.
Zink Verla 10 mg is used at:
- proven zinc deficiency,
treatment with penicillamine and other complex images.
2. What do you need to consider before taking zinc Verla 10 mg?
Zink Verla 10 mg must not be taken if they are hypersensitive to zinc-D gluconate or one of the other components of zinc Verla 10 mg. Apart from that, no conditions are known under which you are not allowed to take zinc Verla 10 mg.
special caution at the entry of Zink Verla 10 mg is required,
If you take zinc Verla 10 mg in the long term (several months), then zinc and copper should be monitored in a laboratory diagnosis.
Children:
only give this medicine to children under 6 months after consultation with the doctor, since so far there is no sufficient experience for a general recommendation for this age group.
When taking zinc Verla 10 mg with other medicines:
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you take/apply other medicines or have recently taken/applied, even if it is not prescription -related medicines . The effect below can be influenced below at the same time treatment with zinc Verla 10 mg.
- With the simultaneous administration of zinc and iron salts or copper salts, the absorption of zinc can be reduced into the bloodstream.
- The administration of complex images such as D -Penicillamine, dimer cappoanic acid (DMPS) or edetinic acid (EDTA) can reduce the absorption of zinc or increase the excretion.
- zinc can reduce the absorption of copper and iron.
- The effectiveness of antibiotics such as tetracycline, ciprofloxazine and quinolons is reduced while taking zinc.
Between taking zinc Verla 10 mg and taking these preparations, a distance of at least 2 hours should be observed.
When taking zinc Verla 10 mg together with food and drinks:
Zink Verla 10 mg, if possible, you should not take together with vegetable food (especially cereal products, legumes, nuts), as these are taken in the absorption of zinc in the Impair blood circulation.

In the recommended dose range there are no restrictions on taking Zink Verla 10 mg.
traffic and operating machines:
No special precautionary measures are required.
3. How is Zink Verla to take 10 mg?
Always take zinc Verla 10 mg exactly according to the instruction in this package insert. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
Dosage
If the doctor does not prescribe otherwise, the usual dose is:
1 film -coated tablet 1 to 2 times a day.
Type of application
take the film -coated unknown with sufficient fluid with a clear time distance before meals (approx. 1 hour), since the inclusion of zinc in the bloodstream can be disturbed by food.
Duration of the application
The duration of the income is based on need and success. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of zinc Verla 10 mg is too strong or too weak.
If you have taken a larger amount of zinc Verla 10 mg than you should,
the side effects given under point 4 can occur. Signs of overdose are metal taste on the tongue, headache, diarrhea and vomiting. In this case, end the use of Zink Verla 10 mg and ask your doctor for advice.

Like all medicines, zinc Verla can have 10 mg side effects, but which do not have to occur with everyone.

What Zink Verla 10 mg contains:
The active ingredient is: Zink-D-Gluconat
1 film-coated tablet contains:
Zink-D-gluconat 70 mg, accordingly 10 mg Zinc.
The other components are:
microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, high-disperse silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (Ph. EUR.), Hypromellosis, ethylcellulose, Triethylcitrat.
Zink Verla 10 mg contains no gluten and no lactose.
