    LELDERRON 80.5 mg effervescent tablets.
    active ingredient: iron (II) -Gluconat (Ph.Eur.). Areas of application: In the case of increased iron loss (e.g. for increased menstrual bleeding, after operations, blood donations, bleeding as a result of diseases of the digestive tract), reduced iron absorption (e.g. after removing stomach and intestinal sections) and with increased iron requirements (e.g. during pregnancy).

    - ulcers in the digestive tract
    - Inflammatory bowel diseases such as: < Br> - Ulcerosa colitis
    - Crohn's disease
    Which age group must be observed?
    - children below 16 kg body weight: the medicine must not be used.
    What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
    - pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the drug has no harmful effects on the development of your child or birth.
    - breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no evidence that the medicine must not be applied during breastfeeding.

    Side effects
    What undesirable effects can occur?
    - gastrointestinal complaints, such as:
    - abdominal pain
    - nausea
    - vomiting
    - loss of appetite
    - diarrhea

    - Beware of allergy to ascorbic acid (vitamin C)!
    - be careful with allergy against the sweetener cyclamat (E 952)!
    - Beware of allergy against the sweetener saccharin (E 954)!
