Up to 30% of the population is deficient in selenium or zinc or both.Oxidative stress shifts the quinol / quinone ratio unfavorably depending on the intensity (ideal ratio 90 : 10). Food Supplement with 5% Ubiquinol in ultra-small drop QuinoMit ® Q10 fluid contains melted ubiquinol in ultra-small drops, stabilized with lecithin, distributed together with vitamin B3 in glycerin and water. It can be absorbed quickly and well directly through the oral mucosa. Ubiquinol is the breathable form of coenzyme Q10. Since ubiquinol is slightly better water soluble than ubiquinone, the oxidized form of coenzyme Q10, it is 3 – 4 times better absorbed. Ubiquinol is a body's own (endogenous) substance that is vital for the energy production and membrane protection of every cell and thus for the entire organism. It is a central link in the energy production chain of the mitochondria (cell power plants) and is so far the only known lipophilic (fat-soluble) endogenous oxygen radical scavenger in the cell membranes. Ubiquinol is a physiological biphenol and, therefore, a lipophilic antioxidant. Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) is a substrate for complex I in the respiratory chain and essential as a link (NADH/Q1) for energy formation in the mitochondria. Glycerol also has an important function in energy metabolism. It transports electrons as glycerol-3-phosphate and thus provides the organism with further energy. In addition, glycerol can bind water in the organism and thus reduce the increased excretion of water during physical exertion.
