The eyes are our most precious sensory organ: it is through them that we absorb 80% of our information. Good eyesight promotes working capacity and influences the individual way of life. Intensive computer work, unbalanced nutrition, stress and increased UV radiation strain the eyes. This also applies to the point of the sharpest vision – the macula. Vital substances for the eyes For good eyesight, it is important to ensure a constant supply of eye nutrients. Important micronutrients support vision until old age. With frequent consumption of fatty sea fish, the intake levels of DHA (and EPA) are higher (EFSA 2012). Augen-Aktiv supplies 140 mg of DHA per capsule and thus contributes to a total intake of 250 mg of DHA per day. With just one capsule a day, you can ensure that you are adequately supplementing your diet with the important eye nutrients vitamin A, B2 and zinc.
